A new Nordic Centre of Excellence (NCoE, 2011-2015) on the preservation of tundra in a warming climate!
The impact of moth outbreaks and reindeer grazing on the mountain birch ecosystem and secundary tundra in Northern Fennoscandia is the topic of one work package within the NCoE lead by Pekka Niemela, Univ. Turku and Rolf A. Ims, Univ. Tromsø.
